Reference Books include encyclopedias, dictionaries, and other works which function as manuals, guides and overviews of your field. The Reference Section is on the first floor of the library, behind the reference desk. These books are in-library use only.

We Don't Own It? Try  Interlibrary Loan!

You can search for books in other libraries in WorldCat. If the Macdonald-Kelce Library does not have the book or article you are looking for, we will request the item from another library through Interlibrary Loan.

Use this search box to search the library's online catalog. Find books, DVDs, and electronic books in the library's collection.

E-Books (Use ALL LIMITS menu and select LOCATION)


To access E-Books, you must be logged into eSearch.

The library provides access to hundreds of Ebooks on Chemistry. To search for Ebooks, use UTOPIA and click on the link "Set Limits" in the far right corner of the search screen (not the quick limits drop-down menu). Choose "e-Books" from the Location menu.This will also include many government documents online.

You can also find E-books in Ejournals, browse by subject, and limit to Ebooks only.

Books You Can Check Out (Use Quick Limit "MAIN")

Books you can check out are located in the Main Collection, on the second floor of the library. Your Spartancard is your library card.

Using the Library of Congress Classification System, Chemistry books are located in the QD section:
